Overlooking the port of Alghero, family-run Elclaca offers colourful rooms with a flat-screen TV, 500 metres from the beach. Wi-Fi is free, and the cathedral is 3 minutes’ walk away. Air-conditioned rooms at the Elclaca come with parquet floors, and some feature a balcony. The private bathroom has a hairdryer and a shower. A sweet Italian breakfast buffet, including hot drinks and croissants, is provided daily. There are many restaurants in the area, serving Sardinian cuisine and pizza. The Grotta di Nettuno cave, in the Capo Caccia Marine Reserve, is 23 km away. A bus to Fertilia Airport stops 2 minutes from the property, and Stintino is reachable in just under 1 hour’s drive.
